Logan, UT Sesquicentennial Celebration

Logan’s celebration for its 150th year incorporated will kick off at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Logan LDS Tabernacle.

The program includes a welcome from Mayor Craig Petersen, a celebration of all the living former mayors of Logan, a celebration of the city’s oldest living residents, a presentation of the colors by the Logan City Police/Fire Honor Guard, a performance by the American Festival Chorus and remarks by LDS Apostle Gary E. Stevenson.

Logan would like to thank the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra, Music Director Craig Jessop, the Westminster Bell Choir, Lynn Thomas and Kevin Olson.

“It’s going to be a great event,” Logan Human Resources Manager Greg Cox said. “We’re looking forward to it.”

The event is free of charge, and tickets can be picked up at City Hall at 290 N. 100 West or at the door during Sunday’s event.
