Originating as “The Gentleman’s Estate Quartet” at Huntsville, Alabama’s Oakwood College in 1980, TAKE 6 has recorded and/or performed with an impressive array of artists, including Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Don Henley, James Taylor, k.d. lang, Patti Austin, Randy Travis, Queen Latifah, Sheryl Crow, Branford Marsalis, and BeBe & CeCe Winans.

This phenomenal sextet has shown global appeal, with World Tours to Asia, South America, Europe, Australia, and Canada. Most recently, TAKE 6 had the honor of being the first American vocal group to perform in Cuba since diplomatic relations were restored.
